ISSUE RESOLVED!  FIX IS HERE:  This issue pertains to certain versions of Windows Vista and 7.  The problem generally is associated with a UAC setting that causes programs to save to a "virtual folder" instead of the Credit-Aid Program folder. Up until 7/22/2010 all of our versions installed to C:\Program Files\Credit-Aid_Version_Name.  All versions after 7/22/2010 now install to  C:\Credit-Aid_Version_Name.  This solves the issue.  If you are having this error and your client info or letters are not saving, here is the solution:

  1. Close Credit-Aid
  2. Completely uninstall Credit-Aid Software
  3. Visit C:\Program Files and make sure your Credit-Aid Folder is gone. If it's not gone, delete it.
  4. Reinstall install the Credit-Aid software again, but manually change the install location from Program files to C:\.  (the system root c:) and the credit-aid product name.  The exact location to install is C:\Credit-Aid_Your_Version_Name.  During the install process it will show you the location it is about to install to, simply delete the words "Program Files" and leave the rest of the address intact so that it now says C:\Credit-Aid_Your_Version_Name  This will solve the issue.
